First time trying this place since it was getting cold and I wanted some soupy noodles! Coming from LA and Virginia, I didn't have super high expectations for NYC viet food, but I'm glad this place subdued my cravings! Started off with their egg rolls which were fried nicely with a strong black pepper flavor (vs prior ones I've had were more white pepper). Appreciated the good ratio of pork to veggies (earwood mushrooms, taro) to vermicelli. My go-to Bo Kho with egg noodles was solid with a fragrant and savory broth. I liked how the lemongrass flavors were prominent, although I wish they had more green onions. The beef pieces were SUPER tender and they give a good amount! Egg noodles were cooked nicely and close to al dente. Don't let my photo fool you because they gave me a lot of noodles and beef!! The beef pho is pretty decent. The broth was on the saltier side and had a decent beef bone flavor but could have been even stronger. The noodles, beef slices, meatballs, and tripe were good. Good amount of bean sprouts for the table, but wish they gave us more basil. As a mom and pop shop, I felt like it was clean with good amount of seating. Service was good and food came promptly.

We went for an early dinner. Service was efficient. The restaurant is attractive and reasonably comfortable and thankfully not too noisy.I had the fresh spring rolls and Bo Nuong La Lot- a complicated dish of beef wrapped in betel leaf . My wife had Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio- a pork dish. They serve beer and wine. I finished with a cold Vietnamese coffee. My wife had a mango smoothie. The food was consistently good and came out quickly which was good because I was hungry and tired. The neighborhood is interesting. It's the old once Jewish Lower East Side now basically an extension of Chinatown. I remember that years ago the area had a dangerous feel to it. Now it seems " alive". I'd like to explore further.

As you can tell from my check-ins, Kitchen Co Ut still remains one of my most frequented places for a warm bowl of noodle soup. However, this is a review update as I used to be a fan of the Hu Tieu Nam Vang with soup on the side but now I find myself ordering the dish with soup inside a lot more often. The broth is a clear, savory, and slightly sweet broth that perfectly balances out the thin chewy rice noodles. The broth is addicting and it feels like a warm hug every time I take a sip. Definitely give it a try!

Kitchen Co Ut might just be my new go-to Pho spot. I was able to trie the Vietnamese coffee, spring rolls, Bánh khọt (mini savory pancakes), beef pho, and grilled pork over vermicelli. My favorites were the coffee, Bánh khọt, and pho! The pho broth was a highlight and didn't need to be seasoned with hoisin sauce. The coffee was the best Vietnamese coffee I've had in my recent memory and was strong with the right amount of sweetness. The Bánh khọt was the sleeper hit being crispy and delicate and perfectly paired with fresh greens.

Great menu with a lot of selections! I have been here at least twice already, and have been satisfied. You don't need a reservation, you can just walk in and be seated. There has never been a wait. If you like Vietnamese coffee, I recommend you try it here! It is super good, I even took one to go to have it the next morning. Service is quick and staff is nice. Definitely will come back!

Came for a piping hot bowl of pho after a weekend trip away, and this was exactly what I needed. The pho here is delicious - the broth is super clear but incredibly rich and flavorful. Toppings are plentiful & noodle portions were just right. The menu looks to be rather extensive, so I'm very much looking forward to coming back to try their other items. I had a sip of my friend's bun bo hue broth and it was quite tasty as well! Cash and card are both accepted. Service is fast & not overbearing.

A great restaurant that spun out from Banh Mi Co Ut (my favorite Manhattan banh mi spot). Get the banh bot loc (tapioca dumplings stuffed with shrimp and pork) and banh xeo (crispy stuffed rice pancake) to share. Be sure to check out their weekly specials! Their bun bo hue was also great, though I would've preferred it to be a bit spicier. We got there as soon as it opened on Sunday, and by noon almost all the tables were filled.

Honestly one of the best pho spots I've had before! The broth is so different compared to other pho spots in Chinatown. I love that this one tastes so flavorful and sweet. They also add in a meatball which is nice because it adds a good crunch. The noodles are soft and mix in perfectly with the soup. The spring rolls are crispy and flavorful as well. Sometimes it feels super warm in here and there is only one bathroom which usually has a queue of people waiting. However, I would keep coming back because the pho is that good and the employees are really sweet. There is a lot of seating and the restaurant feels spacious and not overcrowded.

LOVE this place. i am a regular here and every time i try a new entree and i am impressed! I usually steer clear of non homemade vietnamese cuisine but this place has BLOWN ME AWAY every time. However, i would skip the apps and desserts. I've tried a handful of both their apps and desserts and have been disappointed with almost every one. Their app salads and cassava cake isn't bad but don't think it would reorder it. Their entrees are the star of the show here and the serving size is huge! a few of my favorites are the bun cha and hu tieu Service is always amazing and the interior is so modern and chic! I would return a hundred times over!
